The Father Arshag Khatchadourian Music Scholarship Fund is a mission that needs the generous support of individuals who seek to maintain the sanctity of Armenian Church Music. Individual students within the Western Diocese can apply and qualify for this program during the applicable enrollment terms.
Students will play an integral role in the planning of our new generation of church choirs. They will be assigned to parishes, where the Divine Liturgy and all of its musical components will be taught by an experienced and trained conductor, organist, or vocal sectionalist. This program will serve as the foundation of a new generation of young Armenian members of the church to serve in a musical capacity within their own community. The Chairman’s launch of this initiative comes at a crucial time for succession planning for the new and upcoming generation.
