My Dear Faithful,

Let us rejoice for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! For, Christ has Risen from the dead and Blessed is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!

The scriptures of Holy Week allow us to walk amongst the path of those before us as we bear witness to the atrocities committed against our Saviour. It teaches us patience, forgiveness and how to have unwavering faith within our Christian lives.

We are tested in life on a daily basis, and we should base our daily lives from the very moments we experienced from this past week. For the love of the Almighty can provide divine miracles within our mortal lives.  Many of you have partaken in services far and wide across our Diocese and have heard our beautiful hymns sung within our sanctuaries as we beseech the Lord for forgiveness of our sins. We came together and prayed through Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and we shall gather together to celebrate Easter shortly. We must not only listen, but understand the prayers thats we sing unto the Heavens as our hearts are filled and purified with the love instilled by Christ amongst our souls.

Let us fill our hearts with love for our Lord and Saviour through prayer, worship, and song.

Let us pay attention to the teachings of Christ that we have witnessed through scripture.

Let us hold the same reverence for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in our daily lives as we have done so this Holy Week.

Let us seek praise and forgiveness for our sins, for there are too many in this world.

Let us cast away hate and evil as they tempt us to sin and fall prey to an impure heart.

Let us beseech the Lord for mercy.

Let us praise our Christianity!

Rejoice in the music that you shall bear witness to today and tomorrow. Rejoice in prayer as you weave one sacred music note at a time. Rejoice for the continued survival of our Armenian Apostolic Church.

The melodies that guide us through our journeys this week provide us with some of the most beautiful and treasured hymns that are revered within our Armenian Apostolic Church. They allow us to seek prayer and comfort through song and allow us to pray through our talents bestowed upon us by the Almighty. Just as we reference scripture and pass the teachings of Jesus Christ from generation to another. It is our sole duty to preserve, educate, and pass forward the music of our church.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” – 1 Peter 1:3
